WWDC - the big news
apple No Comments »Hi guys,
I’ve been planning to provide a video commentary of the WWDC keynote, but the short answer is I’m not ready yet - I have been playing with CamTwist and ustream.tv - which both rock, but it’s going to take me a week or two before I have much time on my hands at the moment. So in the meantime - here is the video you want - Steve’s announcement of the new iPhone 3G, courtesy of CNET.
In UK-related iPhone news, O2 will be offering the 8GB iPhone 3G for free on £40 & £75 tariffs and £59 on the £35 and new £30 tariffs - with an 18-month contract. The 16GB iPhone 3G is £free for free for £75 tariffs, £59 for the £45 and £159 for the £35 and new £30 tariff.
The good news is that existing O2 iPhone customers can upgrade before their 18-months are up on their iPhone 2G phones - by signing up for another 18-months. Not bad.
Anyway, I’m signing off for now… you will notice that we now have a Room with a Geek ‘live’ tab - where you can find my ustream channel when I’m broadcasting. I’m also looking for co-hosts, if you like talking Apple, Tech and the web - and don’t mind if I’m learning the ropes on producing a live stream while we go along!
Until next time (soon - I promise!)
